Last fall I completed a wonderful study of the book of Colossians! It inspired me to continue meeting with other believers and study God’s Word together. Since Christ is pre-eminent above all things and all things consist by and through Him, I learned I needed to put Him first in all I do daily.

Since then I published a book through a Christian publishing company, WestBow Press. This book is for middle-grade students ages 8-14. The Lord led me through the process of self-publishing. It was long and frustrating at times, especially financially, but in the end it so rewarding to know He allowed me to begin a new career later in life. When I held my personal copy in my hands, my heart filled with joy!

I pray many students read and enjoy this book. It’s called, Finding Heath Young Lighthouse Keeper. Hopefully, students can identify with the problems Heath encounters in the book, and his actions enable the readers to find help and solutions in their own lives.
